UH OH, my neck!!!!!!!

One morning I woke up and I couldn't turn my head and was in extreme pain. I told my friend to take me to the hospital, but she said that if I went to the hospital, I would most likely wait forever and it would be very expensive, especially because I did not have health insurance. Since I couldn't drive, I reluctantly went to see her chiropractor, where they did an exam and took some xrays. They explained why I had the pain and the problem and gave me the solution and treatment options. I was amazed at my results. After the treatment not only was I pain-free, but I was performing better in all of my sports and hobbies. After a

few more treatments, a bell went off in my head and I said this was going to be my profession. That was in 1989 and now, here we are.

I have always been interested in health, sports and science, but I didn't know how to combine all of my interests in terms of a profession. I started as a personal trainer, but after my chiropractic experience, I immediately found my calling. I first received my undergraduate degree in Nutrition (summa cum laude) and then my Doctorate in Chiropractic, both from Life University in Atlanta Georgia.

 I have two sons, Lucas (born in Oct 2006) and Logan (born in Oct 2008). I have Leo (a South African Mastiff, see pic at left) who weighs in at 150 pounds. I enjoy all sports especially boxing, martial arts and football. I love to read, exercise, cook and spend time with my family.

I get adjusted once a week, try to eat healthy and work out on a regular basis. I have not taken any medication for about 15 years except for getting my wisdom teeth removed. I think it is very important to practice what I preach!!

Introducing Rockville and Gaithersburg Chiropractor, Dr. Jennifer Miller

Hi, I’m Dr. Jennifer Miller. I was born in Minnesota, and lived in the Midwest until I was 12, when my family moved to Virginia. I discovered Chiropractic in my junior year in college. I had suffered with headaches and migraines my whole life, and I was fed up with pain and looking for a drug free solution.
Within two weeks of starting chiropractic care, the headaches were lessening, my energy was coming up, and I realized I had found not only a solution to my own body problems, but had found a new passion and career. I graduated college in 3 ½ years, Cum Laude, with a double major in psychology and family and child development from Virginia Tech. I then went on to graduate from Life University in Atlanta GA, with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

After graduating, I came home to Virginia, where I practiced for three years in Gainesville. I then trained under Dr. Eric Berg in Alexandria, VA, where I became lead practitioner, and an expert in the technique Dr. Berg developed, which assists the body in restoring communication lines in the body. During that time, I focused on learning more about nutrition and alternative methods for helping the body without the use of drugs and surgery.

After practicing for 3 years, I associated for a year and a half in Sterling, Virginia, with Dr. Charles Arndt, a chiropractor certified in the technique of Chiropractic BioPhysics, and master trained in Nutrition Response Testing, giving me more knowledge of naturally assisting the body back to health.

I come from a big family, with one older sister, and two younger brothers, and I love spending time with them and their kids. (I have one niece, and four nephews.) I also love flying with my brother, who has his pilot’s license.

Hi, I’m Dr. Marc, a native Marylander. My passion for Chiropractic began in the 90's when I became a patient after a sports related injury. I was amazed at how well I felt following my treatment and how quick my body healed. I believe that growing up participating in sports, then becoming a patient and later a Doctor of Chiropractic has given me a unique perspective and solid background in spinal injuries and corrective care. My philosophy to patient care is simple: Treat everyone like they're family and exceed their expectations. This winning approach has enabled me to successfully treat thousands of patients in California, Kentucky, and Maryland. My goal is to help ALL people, young and old, reach their optimal health potential through Chiropractic. I contribute my full and rapid recovery to the Corrective Chiropractic Care I received following my injury.

Based on my results after graduating from Penn State University, I went to Life Chiropractic College West in Northern California. In 2002 I co-founded Health For Life, a wellness based practice in Louisville, Kentucky. In 2006 I returned to Maryland and I'm currently residing in Montgomery County with my lovely wife Shana, and our 3 awesome boys, Ethan, Mason and Blake.

Hi, I’m Dr. Brandon Czekaj. I was born and raised in Michigan. Ever since being little I knew I wanted to work in health care. However, I did not find chiropractic until my junior year in college. I was still struggling with a hockey related injury I suffer from a few years prior. After only a short time under chiropractic treatment my condition improved greatly. It was not until I was amazed on how much Chiropractic helped me, that I realized it was my calling to be a Chiropractor. I graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH with a bachelor degree in natural science. From there I attended Life University in Atlanta, GA and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

During and after Chiropractic school I was lucky enough to go on 3 Chiropractic mission trips to El Salvador. There I was able to provide Chiropractic care to hundreds of people on each trip. After graduation I opened a successful practice just outside of Atlanta, GA. After some time in Georgia, I moved to Virginia to be closer to family.
